4 Quarters Radio: May 6 2nd Quarter

The second-quarter curriculum for May 6:
--A Twitter conversation sparks an on-air topic (granted, one that was going to be covered anyway, but still). Rashard Mendenhall's Twitter lunacy gets pondered, and Scott fully expects that contract language for NFL players will get altered soon. Mendenhall's remarks are put into perspective when compared to a teammate's more-disturbing indiscretions.
--Scott examines the Stanley Cup Playoffs by himself, struggling with the idea of Vancouver being accused of faking penalties. Also, he examines the Washington Capitals and agrees with the idea that it's time for that franchise to make some tough decisions.
--In Whodaman, Scott gives props to his favorite team's ace pitcher for living up to the title for a night and also tips the hat to the best hockey team name he's ever heard.

4 Quarters Radio: April 29 2nd Quarter

The second-quarter curriculum for April 29:
--Hockey Correspondent Jimi Russell returns to discuss some second-round action in the Stanley Cup Playoffs, starting with the Predators not putting up much fight against the Canucks in Game 1.
--Scott invites Jimi to take a look back at Round 1 and name some highlights.
--Some handicapping of Round 2 calls for lots of goals in a series that turned out not to go that long and a surprising lack of scoring in a series out west.
--Jimi offers his pick for the Hart Trophy winner, expecting one of the finalists to keep it in the family.
--In Whodaman, Blaize mans up in his Whodaman debut and picks a guy who killed one of his teams for a night. Mack gives shouts to a team that died hard, and Scott gives props to God's Gift. Literally.

4 Quarters Radio: April 22 2nd Quarter

The second-quarter curriculum for April 22:
--Before Logan goes off to chase extra credit points, he gets to share his thoughts on Scott and Blaize both agreeing on the Titans picking Nick Fairley.
--4Q Hockey Correspondent Jimi Russell checks in for the second straight week to talk Stanley Cup Playoffs.
--Scott ponders why the Preds-Ducks series is the only one with suspensions and why goaltenders are getting biblically pimp-smacked.
--Jimi also admits that he'd be perfectly okay with one of his Stanley Cup finalists being poleaxed in the first round.
--Mack laments the collapse of his Rangers, and Scott asks Jimi to forecast some "upsets."
--In Whodaman, Mack applauds disruptive fans, but only as long as Mark Cuban gets clocked in the process. Jimi shouts out to an entire city, with particular love to two magnificent bastards who play there. Scott goes to high school baseball and college softball for his honors.

4 Quarters Radio: February 11 2nd Quarter

The second-quarter curriculum for February 11:
--The herd thins out a bit as 4Q gets joined by its brand-new Hockey Correspondent, Jimi Russell.
--Jimi gets a chance to offer love to his Packers before getting into the frozen-pond action.
--Scott and Jimi check in on how Mr. Carrie Underwood (aka Mike Fisher) will fit in as a Nashville Predator, and also why Ottawa needs to grow some perspective.
--Other potential Nashville trade targets get scrutinized, and the likelihood of nearly all of them seems pretty low.
--Chances of one goalie, Pekka Rinne, winning the Vezina Trophy are weighed, as are the chances of another one winning the Hart Trophy as league MVP.
--Scott puts Jimi on the spot and demands a Stanley Cup Finals prediction, and the Correspondent goes out on a rather sturdy limb.
--In Whodaman, a couple of votes come up for a new all-time record, Bobby marvels at the power of Anderson Silva's ring toe, and Scott wonders if donating organs constitutes a recruiting violation.

Excised music: "Cars" by Gary Numan.
