4 Quarters Radio: May 6 1st Quarter

The first-quarter curriculum for May 6:
--All alone in the studio, Scott's free to lay into the NBA Playoffs. He ponders why one of his former co-hosts has suddenly gotten drunk on a little bit of success and why Boston fans are so low on hope that they're excited for a walking glacier to return to the lineup.
--Bobby calls up for a little UFC discussion, happy over the success of his picks (4-1) at UFC 130. Steven Seagal's bid to return to solid bad-ass cred also comes up.

Featured music: "Never As Good As the First Time" by Sade. Stick around at the end for a brief snippet of the track, and help the show out by purchasing the full download if you like it.

4 Quarters Radio: March 25 4th Quarter

The fourth-quarter curriculum for March 25:
--Medal Stand makes its triumphant return, as Los Guys ponder their favorites for NBA MVP. One host votes for the Bad Guy, and only one gives a medal to defense and rebounding. Derrick Rose's season also gets put into a proper historical perspective.
--The fellas ponder the East's top and bottom 3, wondering if the Celtics have enough gas to stay in second and if the Knicks can even hold off challengers for the #7 spot.
--Scott asks the guys which older players they might miss if the NBA goes into a lockout and forces players into retirement.
--In the Epic Fails, Mack wonders why the legal system humors idiots who sue teams over lockouts. Guess where Logan goes. Scott brings up a bullpen catcher who doubles as a clubhouse garbage disposal/stunt dummy. Mack is strangely only revolted by who the guy takes abuse from, not the abuse that he willingly takes. Go fig.

4 Quarters Radio: March 4 4th Quarter

The fourth-quarter curriculum for March 4:
--With a week in the rear-view mirror since the NBA trade deadline, Los Guys have an opportunity to make halfway informed judgments on who's doing well after making their trades.
--Logan breaks in to inform us how UN-impressive Blake Griffin leaping over a car hood really was.
--Bobby finally gets to weigh in on UFC Live 3, including Diego Sanchez's new gimmick.
--Before hitting the door, the fellas check out the latest athletes hitting Dancing with the Stars and the latest survey of the most miserable sports cities. Everyone's wondering "Where's Cleveland?" Check the 4QR Facebook page for a link to the survey.

4 Quarters Radio: February 4 2nd Quarter

The second-quarter curriculum for February 4:
--In the absence of a call-in guest, the guys decide to check out what's shaking in Vegas. Some goofy prop bets get spotlighted, including whether or not Fergie would come out in a thong for halftime and the odds that Christina Aguilera would pull a "Janet" during the national anthem, of all things.
--One of the most consistent predictors of Super Bowl victories weighs in, and the odds do not look good for the Prof.
--In Whodaman, Bobby gives props to the team that's set to dominate the NBA All-Star Game. Drew tries to slide in both a Whodaman AND Epic Fail, while Logan gets excited about his Vols on a streak.

4 Quarters Radio June 21

Scott's solo on the June 21 edition of 4QR, and he expounds on the Lakers taking the NBA Championship, why Boston's loss is all Doc Rivers' fault, and why the Kobe/Jordan comparisons aren't TOTALLY ridiculous. After that, offseason drama takes center stage, with draft discussion and what it REALLY takes to land LeBron. In the second, it's all about College Conference Roulette, why a BCS shakeup should be coming soon, and why it might not all be over yet. Bobby calls up in the third, and they talk about whether it's okay or not to switch off at halftime. Plus, who's actually stupid enough to deal for Albert Haynesworth? Finally, vuvuzela fever spreads to the Epic Fails, which unfortunately end quite abruptly. Excised music: "Kissed It" by Macy Gray w/ Velvet Revolver, "Ghost" by FeFe Dobson, and "Over" by Drake.

4 Quarters Radio June 14

On a three-period edition of 4Q, Scott and Trent discuss the NBA Finals as the series heads back to LA, the crazed game of musical chairs in college sports, and Stephen Strasburg going Lawn-Boy on his first two opponents...because he mows them down, yaknow? Bobby calls up in the 3rd to offer Chuck Liddell some career advice and catch a little grief for his generalizations on hockey. In Epic Fails, the guys ponder the age old question: why be violent in a strip club? Excised music: "It Don't Come Easy" by Bettye LaVette, "In the Black" by Motorhead, and "Sour Girl" by Stone Temple Pilots.

4 Quarters Radio June 7: 1st Half

On this edition of 4QR, Scott (and eventually Trent and Joseph) starts off discussing the first two games of the NBA Finals, including why Phil Jackson is starting to annoy The Professor to no end and what kind of role Ron Artest should have in the Lakers' offense. Also, some speculation on whether the President may, despite his claims, be involved in steering LeBron to Chicago. In the 2nd quarter, Bobby calls in and joins the fellas as they rank six NFL QB's on their chances to win a Super Bowl and talk about whether they'd freeze their sensitives off to watch a Super Bowl in Jersey. In Whodaman, some inspirational quotes from a departed legend. Excised music: "Dirty Mind" by Prince and "I Could Never Take the Place of Your Man" by Prince.

4 Quarters Radio May 24: 1st Half

On the May 24 edition of 4Q, Scott, Joseph, and Trent discuss the return of the performance-enhancing-drug epidemic. Brian Cushing, Floyd Landis, and even Saint Lance himself come in for a little ridicule. The second quarter leads the guys into the NBA Conference Finals, and one team owes Scott a half-hour refund. In Whodaman, a dentally-challenged skater earns his Tough SOB card. Excised music: "Once In My Life" by Black Sunshine and "I Get Lifted" by George McCrae.

4 Quarters Radio May 17: 1st Half

4Q's summer debut is a lonely place, as Scott spends 90 minutes by himself after signing off with Joseph, who calls in from Memphis to talk NBA Conference Finals. They discuss who they pick in each series, then move on to LeBronapalooza, handicapping where they think LeBron should go. Soloing in Q2, Scott gets in rants on John Calipari screwing with the NBA (again), whether Mike Brown and Mike Woodson should and should have gotten fired. He finishes up with Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's opinion that the NBA needs to raise the entry age to 21. Let's just say that great minds think alike. Whodaman is kind of old news, but it's only the 19th time something has happened in 120 years, so it deserves props. Excised music: "As We Enter" by Nas & Damian Marley and "Girl You're Nice and Clean" by Buddy Guy.
