4 Quarters Radio: October 28
The first-quarter curriculum for October 28:
--Athlon Sports' Steven Lassan rejoins Scott for a little college football talk, starting with how many teams will finish unbeaten at year's end.
--Scott continues to bemoan the system being rigged against Boise State, and Steven is somewhat sympathetic.
--South Carolina's chances going forward are assessed, starting with the Tennessee game.
--The possibility of Vanderbilt hanging with Arkansas is weighed.
--Scott wonders where Purdue's best chance of getting their sixth win lays, and Steven offers what could be a surprising answer.
--Stanford-USC looked like the irresistible force and the immovable object, and Steven breaks down that matchup.
--Steven offers some appreciation of one team's tremendous freshman class, and how likely a reliance on freshmen will lead to a late-season stumble.
--Scott and Steven handicap what a steel cage match between two battling coaches would look like, and which of their teams is a better fit for a new conference.
--A behemoth 32-team conference draws a little bit of discussion, and Steven shares how likely he sees such an arrangement coming to fruition.
--Steven offers a prime example of why there are too many bowl games.
--Finally, a moment of appreciation for Case Keenum.

The second-quarter curriculum for October 28:
--Bobby shows up just in time for Scott to realize that they haven't talked any kind of UFC action in a while. But, unfortunately, there hasn't been any can't-miss action to discuss, and the trend continues through Penn-Diaz and beyond.
--Moving on to NFL action, Scott and Bobby get into examining the eight divisions to see which is the league's best and worst. They're in somewhat surprising agreement overall.
--In Whodaman, Bobby gives love to Adrian Peterson and the Vikings. Meanwhile, Scott spreads it around like he's the guy on Sister Wives. An MTSU alumnus, a surprising Cardinal hero, and a pair of Cougars (not the female variety, unfortunately) get shoutouts.

--Bobby's kind of down over the impending final episode of 4Q, but to take his mind off it, Scott kicks off a game of Medal Stand. The topic: the top three teams that could use Terrell Owens. The two have kind of different views toward which teams would bother with the hassle.
--Eli Manning's comments about manipulating the NFL Draft and advising Andrew Luck are discussed. As one might expect, El Prof is not keen on the idea.
--Scott and Bobby ponder who is the NFL's most underrated running back. Bobby goes small, Scott goes with a total breakout candidate.

The fourth-quarter curriculum for October 28:
--Scott's all alone again, and pretty much running on fumes. He makes a valiant effort to talk about the World Series, Game Six. Injuries and pitcher rest come into focus.
--Scott also powers through some historical perspective on the Game Six comeback.
--As his voice starts to give out, though, it's time to draw to an early close. Scott manages to get through the Epic Fails and present some compelling evidence that Canadians are a little too into their hockey.

4 Quarters Radio: May 6 1st Quarter
The first-quarter curriculum for May 6:
--All alone in the studio, Scott's free to lay into the NBA Playoffs. He ponders why one of his former co-hosts has suddenly gotten drunk on a little bit of success and why Boston fans are so low on hope that they're excited for a walking glacier to return to the lineup.
--Bobby calls up for a little UFC discussion, happy over the success of his picks (4-1) at UFC 130. Steven Seagal's bid to return to solid bad-ass cred also comes up.

4 Quarters Radio: April 29 3rd Quarter
The third-quarter curriculum for April 29:
--Bobby gets some time to stretch out on his UFC 130 picks. Also beginning: the Great UFC Wing Wager Part II.
--The fellas examine the Madden cover bracket and discuss Peyton Hillis's upset win. A potential nomination for another EA Sports title's cover comes up in the conversation.
--In Medal Stand, Los Guys talk trash, and the people who did so better than anyone else. Unsurprisingly, someone busts out a total homer pick, but at least he can back it up.
--The guys start into some NBA playoff conversation, weighing the possibility of the Memphis Grizzlies ending the Spurs prematurely. One host still was not convinced, and therefore, we now call him "wrong."
Featured music: "Electric Love" by Dirty Vegas.

--Scott asks Bobby who he'd book to replace Jon Fitch against B.J. Penn. Surprisingly, Bobby's most fearful for B.J.'s job. Also, Bobby expresses little surprise that ex-WEC fighters are getting headline slots, but he's also got an opinion on how those PPV's will sell. He gets himself into a bit of trouble along the way...you'll have to listen to find out how.
--Moving on to MLB, Scott and Mack ponder which teams are having meaningless starts to the season and which ones are actually signs of things to come. Of course, Mack's anxious to defend his Sox.

4 Quarters Radio: March 25 3rd Quarter
The third-quarter curriculum for March 25:
--The MMA Authority gets his stuff trotted out before its usual fourth-quarter hole. Bobby's impressions of UFC 128 are shared, and UFC's medical suspension policy gets briefly discussed.
--Bobby also makes picks for Fight Night 4, eagerly anticipating a fight that sounds like two spastic kids throwing bombs on XBox.
--A Twitter reply to Bobby's comment on one-legged wrestlers provokes a defense.
--The Barry Bonds perjury trial started, and Scott brings up the most salient question: how much money would each host need to stay quietly in jail for five years? The amounts seem to keep rising as the discussion continues.
--The fellas ponder whether or not beanball wars are really necessary. Mack's all in favor, until it's specified that the fight comes in spring training.
--A new segment called the MLB Injury of the Week debuts with Scott and Mack pondering which of the Phillies' injury holes are most severe. Unsurprisingly, Chase Utley figures prominently.

--Los Guys ponder the NFL lockout and note guys who are losing money and others finding ways to spend their time.
--Potential NFL rules changes get examined as well, and Scott admits to mishearing something that would strike him as a pretty good idea.
--Bobby makes his quick picks on UFC 128, including a roundabout reason for his choice between Shogun Rua and Jon "Bones" Jones.
--In the Epic Fails, Bobby and Mack both have their sides drawn in the NFL labor dispute. Logan is unsurprising in his choice, considering the source of his glum mood. Meanwhile, Scott drops the hammer on a WNBA player failing foreign relations.

--Before hitting the door, the fellas check out the latest athletes hitting Dancing with the Stars and the latest survey of the most miserable sports cities. Everyone's wondering "Where's Cleveland?" Check the 4QR Facebook page for a link to the survey.

--Logan takes a moment to rant about the exorbitant prices of tall draft beers.
--The boys bat around a few suggested NBA trades and weigh in on their respective levels of retardation. The Carmelo Anthony deal in particular seems like a team demolishing a whole house to build a new garage.
--In the Epic Fails, Drew wonders why anyone would be upset at cameras catching them being fed by Cameron Diaz, Bobby piles on the already miserable Cleveland Cavaliers, and Scott thinks an overprotective dad needs to take a pill.

--The MMA Authority has a hard time keeping his cards straight, but he still offers his picks on UFC 126. At least, he does once Logan gets done begging for calls to have Scott or Bobby throw on dresses.
--A strange random caller picks the Steelers and shoves the NBA right off the show, so Bobby takes a moment to plug his latest video game obsession, Fight Night Champion.
--In Epic Fails, Drew's attempted slap on Albert Haynesworth gets put out there, while Bobby's wondering why anyone cares about Big Ben being in piano bars. Logan takes one last shot at getting callers for dresses, and Scott wonders who would enter a tournament for "imaginary" money.

The Best of 4 Quarters Radio: Volume 1
It's hard to condense an entire year of great sports talk into one half-hour program, but the 4QR staff has managed the feat.
The highlights include:
--Scott and Bobby discussing Ines Sainz, and Clinton Portis's comments regarding Ines Sainz and "53 men's packages."
--Scott going solo on an absolutely epic rant about the idiots who choose to run onto baseball diamonds during games.
--A couple of memorable Whodaman segments, with Logan happy for his fantasy team, Scott happy for a NBA scrub scoring a hot fiancee, and celebrating a highly buff bird.
--Excerpts from interviews with MTSU football coach Rick Stockstill and Sporting News college basketball writer Mike DeCourcy.
--Brief shots on a potential name for Arian Foster's fan club, a new martial art that wins UFC matches for those who DON'T practice it, and what breed of dog comes to Scott's mind when he looks at Cortland Finnegan.

--The Ultimate Fighter coaches have been named, and the idea of Brock Lesnar weekly on Spike seems like a sure recipe for fun and disaster.
--Scott explains why the Knicks need to simply walk away from Melo.

--For Fantasy Football Gloat/Bitch Day, Bobby and Scott commiserate over their losers' bracket status, and Scott even tries to broker a deal.
--The guys compare the consecutive-game records in each of the major sports, trying to decide how impressive Grampa's run is in comparison. Jim Marshall's impressive history gets some special discussion.
--The collapse of the Metrodome gets examined for conspiracies. Both Scott and Bobby both offer theories about the identity of the mysterious golf-cart driver.
--Scott bemoans the Bears getting buried in the snow by the Patriots, and both guys share a chuckle over the sad disappearance of Randy Moss.
--Tripping, autographs, and laughing get compared as Scott and Bobby decide which offense is most egregious.

4 Quarters Radio: November 11 4th Quarter
The fourth-quarter curriculum for November 11:
--The NFL conversation has to start in Dallas, with the Cowboys' first-ever midseason coaching change. Questions remain on whether the Cowboys are too far gone already and whether or not Jerry Jones is the problem. Los Guys also ponder which of the potential candidates they would hire if they were Jerry.
--Chad Ochocinco's issues are discussed, and the question is raised regarding whether or not Chad should be moved along.
--Another game of Medal Stand kicks off, and the topic for the week is which quarterbacks are doing the best jobs this season. Along the way, Scott explains why his picks are not rampant homerism, and also explains his uncanny ability to make players huge by NOT adding them to his fantasy team.
--An NFL linebacker displays a complete lack of historical knowledge, but a stunning grasp of Kevin Smith's film catalog.

4 Quarters Radio: November 4 4th Quarter

--Joseph stays and aids Scott and Bobby in a comparison of three high-profile rookies in the NBA this season, John Wall, DeMarcus Cousins, and Blake Griffin.
--Finally, the guys get to play David Stern and indulge in a little contraction-style team-killing.
--4 Quarters steps a little out of its comfort zone after the 10-minute warning, covering some horse racing. Specifically, race horse names. Some test the bounds of taste and some are just mildly disturbing.
--Bobby poses a little knowledge on the UFC's two new divisions, wondering if any of the little fellas have any stopping power.

--Bobby's in a hurry to explain his first losing effort at a UFC pay-per-view, even if some of the picks surprised everyone. Bobby admires Brock's fancy dancing, while Scott ponders if perhaps his pro wrestling days may have contributed to the Grand Canyon that opened on his face.
--The full-strength crew (Scott, Bobby, Logan, and Dylan) take a look at the debut of nWo Miami and decide if anyone should slit their wrists just yet.
